Patrick Riley is an experienced bankruptcy attorney who has participated in thousands of bankruptcy cases. He has represented individuals, business owners, municipalities, and public utilities in bankruptcy court.

Mr. Riley is a Board-Certified Specialist in both Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the North Carolina State Bar.

Mr. Riley served as Special Counsel to the Chapter 7 Trustee for over three years until the Trustee retired. Mr. Riley enjoys helping individuals navigate the bankruptcy process. He became an Accredited Financial Counselor ® during his tenure with the Chapter 7 Trustee.

Mr. Riley is an experienced bankruptcy litigator. He has represented individuals, business owners, and municipalities in adversary proceedings and claim disputes in North Carolina, New York, and Maryland.

Mr. Riley has represented creditors as well as debtors in civil litigation and bankruptcy matters. He represented a large agricultural supplier for nearly ten years and assisted them with credit and financial documents as well as pursue claims against former customers.

Mr. Riley is an Eagle Scout and currently serves as an adult volunteer with his son’s Cub Scout Pack located at Wrightsville Beach.
