Patrick Riley has over 13 years of experience representing individuals and businesses in bankruptcy cases. Mr. Riley is a Board-Certified Specialist in both Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the North Carolina State Bar and has represented clients in all types of bankruptcy cases.

Prior to joining Stubbs Perdue, Mr. Riley served as Special Counsel to a Chapter 7 Trustee for over three years until the Trustee retired. He became an Accredited Financial Counselor ® during this time. He also represented a large agricultural supplier for nearly ten years and helped them draft credit documents as well as pursue claims against former customers.

Mr. Riley focuses his practice on consumer and business bankruptcy, business law, agricultural law, consumer protection, mortgage servicing disputes, and civil litigation.

Mr. Riley is an Eagle Scout and currently serves as an adult volunteer with his son’s Cub Scout Pack located at Wrightsville Beach.
