For almost seventeen years, Laurie Biggs has successfully represented small businesses, business owners, farms and farmers, and individuals in a variety of financial matters. Ms. Biggs is a Board-Certified Specialist in Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the North Carolina State Bar and focuses her practices on business and consumer bankruptcy cases, eminent domain/condemnation cases, agricultural law, real estate, estate planning, and tax matters. Ms. Biggs practices in all of the federal and state courts in North Carolina, as well as before arbitration panels, administrative proceedings, and in mediations.
Ms. Biggs has been named as a North Carolina Super Lawyer (2014-2020), one of North Carolina’s Top 50 Women Super Lawyers®, and in 2019, Lawyers Weekly featured Ms. Biggs as one of its Women in Justice. In 2017, Ms. Biggs was one of only six lawyers in the entire state of North Carolina named in Super Lawyers® 2017 Business Edition for Business Bankruptcy.
