Kindelle Morton McCullen
Ms. McCullen is a native of New Bern, North Carolina. She received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority, and her J.D. from the Charleston School of Law in Charleston, South Carolina, where she was the President of the Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity. She was a recipient of the Charleston School of Law Merit Scholarship. She was member of the Moot Court Board and the Honor Council. While in law school, she served as a law clerk with the North Carolina Office of the Attorney General, Motor Vehicles Section. She also served as an Intern to the Honorable Benjamin G. Alford of the North Carolina Superior Court.
In 2011, Ms. McCullen was appointed by the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Eastern District of North Carolina to serve as a panel attorney for the Criminal Justice Act Panel.
Ms. McCullen is a member of the Craven County Bar Association, currently serving as President after having held the offices of Vice President and Secretary. She is an Adjunct Professor for Business Law at Craven Community College. She is also a member of the Craven Arts Council Board of Directors and is a licensed real estate broker.
Ms. McCullen joined Stubbs and Perdue in 2010 after serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Judicial District 3A, Pitt County, followed by serving as the Agency Attorney for the Carteret County Department of Social Services.
