Attorney Profiles
 Ashley Baxter Curry
Ms. Curry attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in both Economics and Political Science in 2003. She was a member of the UNC Equestrian Team and Sigma Sigma Sigma, and participated in Study Abroad trips to Australia and Greece. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Curry served as an Assistant Sergeant-at-Arms in the North Carolina Senate. She received her J.D. from Campbell University’s Norman A. Wiggins School of Law in May 2009. She was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, Legal Runarounds, and Women in Law. Ms. Curry was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2009.
While in law school, Ms. Curry served as an Intern for Chief Judge Louise Flanagan of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, and also interned at the Richardson & Richardson Law Firm.
Ms. Curry is a member of the Craven County Bar Association, the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, as well as the American Bar Association.
Ms. Curry currently serves as President of the 3B Judicial District Bar. She also serves as Second Vice President of the New Bern Preservation Foundation. She is a member of the New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Group, as well as the Tryon Palace Council of Friends.
